Perfect Granola Marks Milestones Amid Expanded Partnership With Foodlink

Rochester, N.Y. – A local company marked milestones Wednesday as it continues to grow.

We’ve previously introduced you to Michele Liddle, the founder of The Perfect Granola.

Wednesday, the company announced an extended partnership with Foodlink.

The Perfect Granola has become New York’s first NYS Grown and Certified ready-to-eat packaged grain producer, as well as the first grain processor of the state’s Farm-to-Institution Program.

Foodlink will produce granola pouches – which, in turn, will help the company add jobs.

"Starting my company and having it grow so rapidly means everything," Liddle said Wednesday, "but I don’t do it alone. Without support from partners like Foodlink and our retail partners and consumers that enjoy our products – and hungry kids that are enjoying our products – nothing happens alone."

"I think that’s been the most rewarding portion of it, is just how many people believe in our mission," she added, "believe that we’re the ones that can change culture and change the way people think about the food industry, and we are just so blessed to have people’s support."
